Some of the most radical works of resistance do not deliver a clear message. Instead, they reject the very machinery that demands clarity — they interrupt, overwhelm, or subtract.

These works seem to dissent toward meaning, but in doing so, they create new forms of communication. Ones that can pass through censors, or speak directly to the body, bypassing language altogether.
